How it works
3 easy steps to your Wish List
Your wish list, your choice. Make it once, share it when you like, and friends always have a gift idea.
Step 1: Create Your Wish List
Give it a name, like “Birthday wishes” or “For my new home”. It’s free, and you choose who can see it.
Step 2: Add Something You Love
Add favourites from online shops, or write down anything that makes you happy.
Step 3: Share Your Wish List
When you’re ready, share it with friends and family. They discover your taste and find a gift idea, without guessing or buying the same thing twice.
Why a Wish List
Not a list of demands. A little more about you.
You aren’t telling anyone what to buy. You’re sharing your taste, so friends and family can find a gift idea without guessing or spoiling the surprise.
The surprise stays
Gifts stay a surprise. You see your wish list, but not who reserved or bought each thing.
No double gifts
A reserved gift is held for 30 days, and marked Bought once it’s bought. Everyone else sees it’s taken.
Any shop, or your own words
Add things from online shops, or write one in your own words, like “Books for my new shelf”. Mix both in one wish list.
Your wish list, your choice
Make it public, share it with friends, anyone with the link or just the people you pick, or keep it private. Change it any time.
Private, whenever you like
Choose Private when you make a wish list, or switch to it any time, and only you will see it. Share it again whenever you feel comfortable.
A delivery address, if you like
Add where gifts can be sent, for friends who live far away. Leave it off if you’d rather not.
On your invitation
Guests find it right on the card
Making an invitation or a card on Esho? Add your wish list to it. Guests see a Find a Gift Idea button at the bottom, tap it, and choose a gift from there.
Questions
Good to know
What people usually ask before sharing their first wish list.
Is it really free?
Yes. Making your wish list, sharing it and reserving gifts are all free.
Will I know who bought what?
No. You see your wish list as you made it. Who reserved or bought each thing stays hidden from you, so the day still has its surprises.
How do friends reserve a gift?
They open your link, tap Reserve this gift and sign in with Google or their email. The gift is held for 30 days, and they mark it Bought once they’ve bought it.
Can I add things from any shop?
Yes. Paste the link of a product page and Esho fills in what it can find. If a shop doesn’t share its details, just type the name and price yourself.
Can I keep it private?
Yes. A new wish list starts as Public unless you choose Private when you make it. You can also share it with friends only, anyone with the link, or specific people, and change it whenever you like. On a Public wish list, strangers never see your address or phone.
If I make it Private, does my old link preview disappear?
If you shared your wish list link while it was Public, apps like WhatsApp or Messenger may continue showing a saved preview after you make it Private. Esho can’t remove those copies.
Can I add it to my invitation?
Yes. When you make an invitation or card on Esho, add your wish list and guests get a Find a Gift Idea button on it.
